China’s high speed rail network is terrifying. You stand on this platform, and every couple minutes, a huge train comes roaring by at 300 kilometers an hour, spraying water and pulverized dove mist onto everyone in this cacophonous apocalyptic madness. Also, I really like this photo

I’m in love with these stone bridges in the villages around northern guangdong. They’re gorgeous! They sure don’t make ‘em like they used to.
